We interrupt your YOLO-ing for the following service announcement:

I swear if you don't get your act together and start taking responsibility for your appointments all you'll be doing for the next two years is complain to your friends about how you studied psychology for five years just to spend your time (literally) as an unpaid secretary.

Seriously... you CANNOT forget that you have an appointment with a patient. Just.. grow the hell up! I'm not your mommy and, you know what, I'm also not your best friend (who's a social parasite and only got her degree because she had a good ghost-writer)... it's not my job or my responsibility to remind you of the fact that you have an appointment. It's not my responsibility to call you about it, it's not my responsibility... AT ALL!

And if you don't get your act together I will make sure that you don't have any appointments and do all of the telephone and scheduling duties instead. And if you then still don't get your act together I will bring this up in front of our professors. Sorry, but I'm not doing your work on top of my work. I have enough to do making MY PhD.

Also... you just lost your 'oh she's not even getting paid, so I won't make her work any more than I have to' bonus with me. From now on it's 'if she wants that PhD she'd better start acting like she's a real member of the project... and WORK!'
